If you need a copy of your DD Form 214, you can request it from the government. How? First, download and complete the Form 180 (PDF Version). You may need to download the Adobe Reader. You can actually fill it in online and print it for mailing in! You can also request that Form 180 be mailed to you. Instructions are here.
Okay, now you have to mail in the form 180, and the government will mail a copy of your DD 214 back to you.
If that seems like too much work, you can always pay a service do the work for you. It is expensive, but it is quick and guaranteed!
